Break Thru Liverpool - ‘Biggest Morning Tea’ - Raising money for the fight against cancer

May is ‘Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea’ time and the staff from Break Thru People Solutions’ Liverpool branch recently participated in this great event for an even better cause. They involved local business neighbours and the local community - including Lurnea School, local employers and jobseekers alike - to help tip the balance in the fight against cancer.

Symone from Break Thru led a team of eager volunteers including Ros and Dragana who catered - creating a banquet of sweets to tantalize the taste buds of our guests.

All guests received handmade flowers for their Gold coin donations. There were also a variety of hampers up for raffles including the Romantic hamper with wine crackers and cheese for those cold evenings by the fireplace! There were hampers for the movie loves, and for the lovers of chocolate and the most popular of all were the bright, colourful & cute Children’s hampers which were highly sought after by all.

Break Thru would like to thank all of the generous guests who attended the event, including the local business tenants from the building, employers, JSA providers, community agencies, the Liverpool staff and jobseekers who all came to support this event. As a result, Break Thru welcomed over 50 people to their Liverpool branch and raised over $430.00, which was donated to the Cancer Council.
